Description

Learn about the rebuild the TIAA Forum website and how it centered around a broader public purpose that connects technology collaboration with outreach, AA information, and easier long-term maintenance. The presentation traces the evolution from a forum-centered resource to a public site with improved navigation, SEO, analytics, organizational information, history, a glossary, technical material, and a built-in LLM helper for summarizing forum content. It also discusses the WordPress and Discourse stack, findings from reviews of Area websites, mobile usability, volunteer training, and the larger question of how independent AA technology communities can share expertise without undermining the autonomy of local service entities.
