Description

Explore virtual reality AA meetings as an immersive alternative to conventional online formats, using avatars, spatial audio, shared meeting spaces, and service roles to support fellowship, anonymity, accessibility, and participation across geographic boundaries. See how members join through headsets, phones, tablets, or computers; locate meetings through Meeting Guide; moderate disruptions; split larger groups; and adapt familiar AA practices to virtual environments. The presentation also previews a volunteer-built 3D recreation of historic AA landmarks intended to expand access for people who cannot travel to visit those sites in person.
